Finance Books I’ve Read in the Year 2012 – More Than I Ever Read Before

Man Reading book

In late 2011, I decided to get serious about learning about macro, micro economics and as well to improve drastically my trading skills which includes finding trading opportunities, entry and exits. Above all the one thing I wanted to improve the most was my “trader psychology”. By knowing how to think like a trader properly, I should be able to improve all aspects of my trading process which will show up in my improved win/loss ratio and overall returns.

Below is a list of finance and trading books that I have read in the year 2012.

As you can see above, I have read 21 books in the year 2012, this is more than I have read in my whole life before that.

Has reading all these books help?

The answer is “YES“, but only when it coupled with actual trading with real money…NOT paper trading. Also, I learned from many of these books is that you need to write everything down in a trading journal. The emotion of real money on the line and a journal really helps in honing what to do and what not to do.
