TD Web Broker Now Have Direct To Market Options Orders – Finally – Too Late

by Das Brain

TD Waterhouse web broker direct to market options orders I was recently told by a trader friend of mine that finally TD Web Broker accounts finally offers direct to market order routing for options contracts. It’s about time, but very late in the game compared to many of the discount brokerage companies out there.

I have been complaining to them for months about the fact that it takes over 2 minutes for option orders to get routed to the exchange and by that time a trader would have already lost the opportunity to purchase a best price, not to mention lose profits if the price action moves in the traders favor.

Regardless of the fact that TD Web Broker now has this direct to market routing for options, I am still moving all my money out of my TD Web Broker account as soon as my open positions have been closed in that account. This is too little too late for TD Waterhouse, there are so many other better trading platforms out there and at more competitive commission and service levels.
