My previous post under the Debt Management category was about me deciding to attack my credit card debt and have it payed off in 18 months.
Well…in light of my new financial situation I had to figure a new monthly dollar amount to put towards the credit card. I basically, had to eliminate the doubling up of payments. Originally I was going to make two payments instead of one, but now the plan is out the window. I can afford at this point to make only one payment until my job situation improves. I also had to reduce the one payment a month significantly as to not drain my emergency savings too fast.
Once, the employment situation gets better, I will redeploy my original strategy. I already have an interview on Frida, Feb. 2nd. Wish me luck.
