Here’s is a great article that details what is really going on in the American real estate market. While there is a lot of headlines that tell you, there is a recovery in the housing market happening, the truth is that this so called recovery is skewed.
For many American citizens they are still suffering from the crash between 2007-2009, and for any new home buyers they are finding it difficult to qualify for credit to buy a house. Now add to that the fact that real estate “hedge funds” are buying up huge bulk lots of houses to then turn around and make them rentals for tenants.
