According to an article in Money Magazine a while back, apparently men talk on cell phone more than women. I found this quite interesting as women are generally more communicative of the two sexes and have been known in general to talk more than men.
Women spend more time on the phone at home, but when it comes to cell phones, men rule. According to Cingular Wireless survey, men spend an average of 438 minutes on their cell phones a month, compared with 377 minutes on cell phones for women.
The reason for this could also be the fact that there are more business men out there that travel than business women, and generally those that travel for business tend to talk a lot of business while on the go on their cell phones.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of the articles or posts that I have made on this site about my trip to southern California and Las Vegas, I thought I should create this page so that internet visitors can more easily find the articles. Currently, the articles regarding the southern California and Las Vegas trip is scattered under the “Travel” category and not in order.
I was wondering to myself “Is the 415 point rally the stock market had on the Dow Jones Industrial sustainable?”
The answer here is no, the stock market is really volatile. Today, the Dow is down about 235 points right now due to bad news from the financial sector, which will in the near future I think keep rearing its ugly head.

I added a new category to my blog called “Trading Psychology” to explore of course the psychology of trading, whether it be stock, option, futures or foreign exchange trading.
Under this category, I will be posting articles that deals with why investors, speculators buy, why they sell and when. Also, how losses in trading can affect your psychology.
I will sharing a lot of my own personal experiences as well under this new category.

In light of the current market turmoil that is happening, mainly due to sub-prime credit problems that hit the financial companies which in turn took everything else down with it, I thought I would share this documentary that I found online.
Strangely this hour long documentary was made prior to when the media started really covering this whole sub-prime credit / loan issue. There are a lot of people out there who knew that this was coming.

My wife and I returned on Friday March 7th from a 2.5 weeks vacation in Taiwan. It was a spectacular vacation to say the least. We had a wonderful time exploring the island country and some of the locals we talked to there actually said that we have explored more of Taiwan than some Taiwanese citizens.
In the next few weeks to month, I will be looking to buy into long-term option contracts of selective stocks that look like they’ve reached a bottom. In the last 6 months buying shorter-term CALL option contracts has lead to some losses in my portfolio to be honest.
Look at the chart below of the $DJX, the decline started from mid October 2007 to just January 22, 2008 then a bounce and now we are heading back down.
To be on the safe side, I will now only look at LEAPS which are long-term option contracts with at least 1 year before expiration. Looking at the $DJX Dow Jones 100 chart we can see to the far right of the chart, recently the Dow Jones market has try to form “W” shape but failed, and it looks like it is dipping back down. Read the “Trading the 123 Strategy” for double bottom info.
My guess here is the $DJX may go back down to the 122 (DJIA would be 12200) before turning up or go sideways more with a series of small bounces.

I found this article on one of the website that I frequent to read about outdoor life. It’s about money, your wealth and how it affects the environment.
Quite interesting, have a read:
Back in late August of last year I purchased an Acer Aspire 3680 – 2682 laptop from Walmart in southern California which came with Windows Vista Home. You can read up on the specifications here. The only reason why I left the Windows Vista operating system on it was because I didn’t want to hunt down and install of all the device drivers over again, if I had replaced it with Windows XP.
