The stock price of Apple is taking it on the chin today, 2 days ago with about a 4% decline, yesterday it was flat, and then today the sell off continued with a 3.5% hit on the downside. In dollar value that is about a $10 decline from Apple most recent stock price high. Currently, Apple’s stock price is trading at $115.98 .

Looking at the major U.S stock market indices right now, it is all red. Today makes the third day of declines for U.S stock markets. Funny, as I was writing my post 2 days ago about “when is the stock market will correct“, the market started to decline.

This post is based on a video from TheStreet.com where Cramer mentions that the iPhone hype has driven up the price of Apple from $90 to $123 (today). This is an extra ordinary increase in share price of Apple’s stock over the hype of the iPhone. The phone hasn’t even been released yet and no one actually knows if it will be a success or a flop. He has suggested that if you own Apple you may want to take some money off the table, but leave some shares just in case there may be some upside movement.

The U.S stock market over the last 3 months have been on a tear, since the first China stock market scare, the stock market just keeps going up, only slowing slightly for a small break downwards here and there, then proceeding upwards. The upward momentum is so strong that the second China / Shanghai stock market correction of almost 7% didn’t even derail its strong momentum upwards.

The timing of when to purchase a stock is one of the hardest thing to do. Market timing as it is called, is a skill that generally takes many years to learn and become proficient at. In regards to long term and intermediate trades (holding stocks or options from months to years out), I am quite proficient at this. Most of the time I am correct in determining which direction the stock price will go. However, as for short-term trading (day trading, swing trading), I still have quite a bit to learn and improve in this area.

Here are some more glossary terms since Section A was posted a while back.

Open Position or Opening Transaction
An addition to, or creation of, a trading position. An opening purchase transaction adds long options (calls) to an investor’s total position, and an opening sale transaction adds short options (puts). An opening option transaction increases that option’s open interest.

Since my last post on MoneyAcccumulator.com, I have been deep into trading stocks and options and doing pretty well. This day or swing trading process requires so much concentration throughout the entire 9am to 4pm trading day that I haven’t had much time to blog. So, if you thought I fell off the face of the earth…nope that didn’t happen.

I read an article recently about people who are in their fifties looking for work that get passed up because of their age. Employers are choosing the younger workers over the older potential applicants even though this practice of ageism is illegal. Age discrimination is illegal when it comes to hiring practices, but very often this type of discrimination is very hard to prove in court and because of this it is commonly practiced by individuals who are in the position of power to hire employees.

If you are unfamiliar with the term “domain tasting” than this is the post or article will help shed some light on the subject. Basically, domain tasting is when an individual or a business purchases a large amount of domains and parks them right away to test to see if there is any traffic on the domain name and also to see if the traffic can be converted into clicks which generate revenue. The two things they are looking for is “type-in” traffic and high “click-through-ratio (CTR). If the domain names they register makes more than what the domain name cost, then they keep the domain names, however if they don’t then of course the obvious route is to cancel the domain names.
