The number is staggering how many households are on foodstamps and disability amid the recent news that the level of poverty today is at its highest since 50 years ago.

There are a lot of people suffering in the U.S.A, yet I still cannot believe the U.S Government continues to advance on its war plans into Iran. The truth is the politicians say they are pulling out of Iraq and Afghanistan, however that is the furthest from their intentions which is “occupation” of those countries and it is costing American taxpayers trillions of dollars.

When over 40 million people are on food stamps in the United States, instead throwing food away, why isn’t it donated to shelters so it can be prepped for serve the homeless and needy.

We have truly reached a point of excess, and when there is excess for too long, eventually the whole system will be reset, in other words we are going to be heading to a point of scarcity in the near future (Depression). This is the cycle of life.

Canadian’s are currently burden down by heavy debt (Canadian household debt hits 1.5 Trillion), bills and are really having a hard time getting by. That is why about 30% of people surveyed said that they are cutting back spending simply because they feel that their financial security right now is not sound.

More than 1,000 beef cattle that ate feed contaminated with radioactive cesium have been shipped all over Japan from Fukushima and other prefectures, Kyodo news agency reported Wednesday, adding to anxiety after the world’s worst nuclear crisis in 25 years.

The report comes a day after Tokyo ordered the suspension of all shipments of beef cattle from Fukushima prefecture after discovering that cattle fed rice straw contaminated with high levels of radioactive cesium had been shipped nationwide

While the United States government lies about their inflation numbers and creates inflation around the world by printing more U.S dollars, Canadian food prices have been rising at the fastest rate in two years. Many experts already know there is food inflation across the world and now it has been affecting Canadian consumers.

Statistics Canada figures showed that food prices rose 4.3 per cent in June from a year ago, . That’s the highest since July, 2009, and a tick upwards from the 3.9-per-cent pace in May.

If you’re looking for some tasting Vietnamese food in the Newmarket, Ontario area you have to check out Com Pho Asia.  This place is a favourite with my wife and I when we crave Vietnamese food.  The restaurant is located in the plaza just south of the new Mandarin buffet restaurant on Yonge Street (East side), just south of Mulock Drive.
