Last Friday my cousin Christine was crowned the 2008 Miss Toronto Chinese Pageant winner. Congratulations Christine!
When she signed up for the Toronto Chinese Pageant we didn’t know whether she would have a chance, but as the preperations, rehearsals progressed it looked liked she had more of a chance, however the competition was still tough.

Here is a documentary on the Taipei 101 building, in Taipei, Taiwan. It is currently the tallest building in the world. This documentary of the Taipei 101 building will pretty detail every aspect of the planning, and construction of this incredible structure. Taipei 101 is just only one of many things that has put Taiwan on the map.
Now Taipei 101 is currently the world’s tallest building / structure, but that will be changing within a year, as Dubai is currently constructing a structure that is much taller.

Although Canada has a strong and number one ranked banking system, that doesn’t mean that Canada’s economy is immune to the influence of the U.S financial system meltdown and the United States going down the road towards recession.
With many Canadian businesses either medium or large having most of their business coming from American consumers and companies alike, this economic turmoil that the U.S is going through is currently impacting Canadian business in a big way, and will continue to impact Canadian businesses for the next year or so.

A recent report shows that Canada has the world’s most stable banking system, unlike Canada’s neighbors to the south, the United States currently ranks 40. The U.S has suffered a financial industry, stock market collapse due to de-regulations which allowed their banks to do anything they want, including greedy un-scrupulous lending practices.

However, this coming November which is only a few days away, 1and1 will be raising .com, .net, .us, .org, .info, .name, and .biz domain prices to $8.99 per year. That is a $2 difference, quite a bit…28.75% increase to be exact.
