The Las Vegas part of our trip was very eventful. In Las Vegas, there is so much to see and do for a city in the desert. To name a few things you can go hotel hopping, see lots of different types of shows, walk the Las Vegas strip, do some shopping and of course drink and gamble. And that is just the short list.

by Das Brain

I bought InvesTools (SWIM) CALL contracts with a strike price of $12.50 expiring January 2008, option symbol UKHAV back in mid July and since then all financial stocks in the U.S markets took a big blow to the head including InvesTools.  The stock price dropped from about $12 down to $9.50.  I average down my trade, as based on my research InvesTools is a solid company.

NYSE Stock Trader Looks Down - Stock Market DeclineOver the last week, all the U.S indexes has been hit by a sell off of around 6%. Apparently, the jitters are over the sub prime loan issue problem that has hit the U.S, where low income high risk borrowers are having difficulty making their mortgage payments. A large amount of these borrowers are losing their houses and therefore getting out and selling their houses driving real estate prices down in some states.
