• Population: Approximately 2.62 million

• Languages: Taiwan’s official language is Mandarin; English and Japanese are also commonly used.

• Climate: Taipei has a subtropical climate with an annual average temperature of 22 degrees Celsius (71.6 degrees Fahrenheit) and an annual average rainfall of 2,325 millimeters. Summers are hot with occasional afternoon thunderstrom; winters are chilly with frequent drizzles.

Here is a documentary on the Taipei 101 building, in Taipei, Taiwan. It is currently the tallest building in the world. This documentary of the Taipei 101 building will pretty detail every aspect of the planning, and construction of this incredible structure. Taipei 101 is just only one of many things that has put Taiwan on the map.

Now Taipei 101 is currently the world’s tallest building / structure, but that will be changing within a year, as Dubai is currently constructing a structure that is much taller.

Just got back from my Shanghai and Malaysia vacation.  Shanghai was awesome in terms of sight seeing and learning about its history and Malaysia as always is tropical and seeing a motorcycle grand-prix (MotoGP) live was truly an amazing experience. The getaway was just what I needed to recharge my batteries.
