Last Friday my cousin Christine was crowned the 2008 Miss Toronto Chinese Pageant winner. Congratulations Christine!
When she signed up for the Toronto Chinese Pageant we didn’t know whether she would have a chance, but as the preperations, rehearsals progressed it looked liked she had more of a chance, however the competition was still tough.

A good friend of mine (DJ Lee Tamus) recently, just got into mixing dance music, in particular Trance which is a genre of electronic music that I thoroughly enjoy. He sent me his first mix, a 46 minute set of some trance music from a few years back until today so the songs are not that old. I listened to it, and it’s actually pretty good, a good mix of some vocal trance all the way to hard progressive trance. The mixing is O.K, but needs a little improvement. He will also be setting up a web site soon, I know his mixing (djaying) will improve by then.

This video was brought to my attention by a friend of mine, regarding the current earth quake in China.
Many people are thinking that this was not a natural disaster, but more like an attack by the U.S with the weapon Project HAARP. Trying to provoke a war in accordance to the Bilderberg’s (Illuminati) groups mandate.
I’m not advocating this theory, but you never know these days.
Here are a few videos regarding this subject.

According to an article in Money Magazine a while back, apparently men talk on cell phone more than women. I found this quite interesting as women are generally more communicative of the two sexes and have been known in general to talk more than men.
Women spend more time on the phone at home, but when it comes to cell phones, men rule. According to Cingular Wireless survey, men spend an average of 438 minutes on their cell phones a month, compared with 377 minutes on cell phones for women.
The reason for this could also be the fact that there are more business men out there that travel than business women, and generally those that travel for business tend to talk a lot of business while on the go on their cell phones.

Recently the school trustees of Toronto, Canada approved the go ahead to build an all black kids school in Toronto, mainly because of the extremely high drop out rates of black students in high school.
I think this is a completely backwards move. After all, didn’t Martin Luther King fight and died for the blacks to be recognized as equals all over the world. For Toronto, Canada school board to do something like this like saying “Black kids, need special attention so they DON’T drop out of school.” This is the message it is sending out to the world.

Year 2007 as the title of this post suggest was an extremely volatile year for me. At the beginning of 2007 I watched on CNN a gentleman from Hong Kong, talking about the Chinese pig or boar zodiac, and calendar prediction for 2007. The man said that usually years ending with the number 7 are very volatile, and he also mentioned that 2007 has metal, fire and water elements associated with it. Well, when you mix hot metal and water you get a lot of sizzle and volatility and that is exactly what I got for 2007.

This post is about a recent inkjet cartridge order I placed with 123inkjets.com. A few weeks ago I placed an order for 12 replacement Epson ink cartridges which were the remanufactured kind. Basically I ordered 3 of each color (Black, Magenta, Yellow and Blue), and I chose the non-OEM remanufactured ink cartridges because:
A. They are recycled, so I am helping the environment somewhat.Â

Finally, bottled water companies will start to label the source of their water.
This article from Reuters details that PepsiCo’s Aquafina and Coca-Cola’s Dasani will start to label the source of the water in the bottles. If you thought it came from fresh water springs…nope it seems like it’s just filtered tap water.
Your probably better off carrying a bottle of Brita filtered water from home, than buying bottled water all the time.

If you were wondering why there were no post over the last 5 days it’s because I was in Miami, Florida to attend the Ultra Music Festival and to enjoy some nice weather. My wife and I attended the Ultra Music Festival and it was awesome and would recommended it to anyone who enjoys music, especially electronic music the likes of techno, house, trance and drum and bass. Here’s my little review of the Ultra Music Festival Miami, Florida.
