GM Issues 4 More Recalls Covering 500,000 Vehicles 57,000 in Canada

Monday, June 30th, 2014

There is a reason why I have never owned a car made by GM (Cheverolet, GMC, Buick etc.) and the reason is that these cars are complete crap.

A few times I have been tempted by the low entry price into a new GM, but for some reason I had the inkling that I will pay for it down the road in failures, problems, maintenance and safety.

Stephen Molyneux: The Decline and Fall of Canada. Prepare Yourself Accordingly

Tuesday, June 24th, 2014

Stephen Molyneux goes through some very interesting statistics that I think every Canadian should know.

You must remember that, what the Canadian mainstream financial media tells you now are “lies”, after all it’s politicians behind a lot what you read in the news. Spinning positivity in everything, while things are falling apart in the background.

The Canadian Government is incompetent and don’t know how to manage taxpayers money.

Brian Belski is Wrong – He Says Bull Has Legs to Run Another 10 Years

Tuesday, June 24th, 2014

When bank economists and forecaster, comes out with these “pie in sky” predictions you know what they are doing is rounding up “the greater fools”. Trying to get people to dump more money into the stock market before a big crash.

I think Brian Belski is borderline retarded, his predictions are based on wrong assumptions and fantasy.

For instance:
“Children of the boomers, is growing and “this cohort” has historically had a direct impact on stock prices.”

Finance Books I’ve Read in the Year 2013 – Busy Work Year, Less Reading

Tuesday, April 8th, 2014

The year 2013 was quite a busy year, so of course when I am on the move so much and time is limited it affects when I can pick up a book, sit down and read. In year 2012, I finished roughly 21 books but 2013 I went through 15 finance related books.

Note: You will see other books in the list, but I didn’t put a number beside them because it wasn’t finance related.

Attack On Crypto Currencies – Market Manipulation By Banks/Governments

Monday, December 9th, 2013

I think Bill Still is correct in his analysis.

This is a great example of Banks and Governments with large budgets and super computers using HFT (High Frequency Trading) to manipulate markets pushing prices up and down.

As I was checking the crypto currency market last night I noticed that pretty much all the top 10 crypto coins were being hammered down , Bitcoin was down over 30%, Litecoin was also down and Quark was down over 40% as well.

Canadian Housing / Condo Bubble – It’s Getting Frothy

Monday, November 18th, 2013

I’ve been watching the Canadian housing market for over the last decade now, and let me tell you have things been getting really frothy. In downtown Toronto, you can now get a one bedroom 700 square foot condo unit for $280,000 to $320,000. My wife and I decide earlier last month to walk our weekends in downtown Toronto to enjoy the scenery and restaurants and during those excursions I kept a mindful eye on all the condo construction and cranes that were all over.
