If you can get an invitation from an online survey company that is willing to pay you for your opinion, you are quite lucky. Generally, there are limited space when it comes to online surveys which pays you for your time to fill out a 5 to 25 minute long survey…the longer the survey usually the higher the online survey company will pay you. The rate they pay you can range from $3 to $12, and if you fill out the survey to a point, and you don’t qualify as the group of people they need, you usually would get like $0.50 for your 1 minute.

Currently .com, .net, .us, .org, .info, .name, and .biz domains cost me $6.99 USD. However, this coming November which is only a few days away, 1and1 will be raising .com, .net, .us, .org, .info, .name, and .biz domain prices to $8.99 per year. That is a $2 difference, quite a bit…28.75% increase to be exact.
Year 2007 as the title of this post suggest was an extremely volatile year for me. At the beginning of 2007 I watched on CNN a gentleman from Hong Kong, talking about the Chinese pig or boar zodiac, and calendar prediction for 2007. The man said that usually years ending with the number 7 are very volatile, and he also mentioned that 2007 has metal, fire and water elements associated with it. Well, when you mix hot metal and water you get a lot of sizzle and volatility and that is exactly what I got for 2007.
If you are unfamiliar with the term “domain tasting” than this is the post or article will help shed some light on the subject. Basically, domain tasting is when an individual or a business purchases a large amount of domains and parks them right away to test to see if there is any traffic on the domain name and also to see if the traffic can be converted into clicks which generate revenue. The two things they are looking for is “type-in” traffic and high “click-through-ratio (CTR). If the domain names they register makes more than what the domain name cost, then they keep the domain names, however if they don’t then of course the obvious route is to cancel the domain names.
